Nike GS – Green Speed pictures

Earlier today we brought you a bit of info on the Nike GS, which is due for release August 15th, the good people at nike have just sent us through a huge file of images of the GS, and all I can say is wow.

The toebox of the boot is made from a Solvent-free Kanga-lite synthetic for exceptional touch and control

An anatomical, asymmetric heel counter and bucket locks down the foot for stability and support. The counter is made of Pebax Renu, which is made from oil extracted from Castor Beans!

The stud configuration is anatomical to ensure maximum speed, response and movement on the pitch while also allowing for easy directional changes

The boot is reinforced with 20% renewable matrials, 88% recycled PES and 12% PU solvent free materials, with a Soy based sock liner sourced from renewable resources

The  quatre and tongue of the boot come from 95% recycled materials – which, like their football shirts, come from plastic bottles which have been recycled.

at 160 grams of recycled and renewable engineering, nike GS is built for High Speed control, designed around the natural movement of the foot for a super natural fit.

Stripped to the essential elements of a performance boot, nike GS delivers a deadly combination of lightweight innovations and recycled materials resulting in the fastest, lightest and greenest boot Nike has ever made.
