Puma evoSPEED 1 SL Ducati

Puma have launched their latest addition to the evoSPEED line, which sees them extend their long standing relationship with their Motorsport partner Ducati.

Like all other evoSPEED booths, the boot is aimed to improve your manoeuvrability and, most importantly your speed!

However, Unlike other evoSpeed boots, an extra lightweight Synthetic upper has been used – making these boots weigh in at an astonishing 158 grams – lighter than the Vapor 8 FG, which weighs in at 187 grams! Meaning, these boots are INCREDIBLY light. Not only does the boot allow you to replicate Ducati speeds on the pitch, but it also features Ducati’s distinctive colouring – with the red bod and white Formstrips

Excitingly, the sole of the boot comprises of that old favourite Pebax, and Carbon Fibre – which keeps the boot light and flexible. Puma has also utilised AptoLast – the industry leading fit allows the boot to mimic a foot’s natural shape as best as a Last can.

Some boot fans commented on the high gloss finish of the launch models of the evoSPEED, interestingly, on this model – puma has moved to a more carbon-fibre like synthetic upper for the boot – with a matte finish, which only  accentuates the Ducati links.

“PUMA and Ducati are both strong and emotive brands with a lot of history of innovation and technology, which makes this product collaboration a great initiative,” commented Terence Parris, Head of International Marketing Teamsport at PUMA.

”As Ducati has such a strong association with speed, the brand is a perfect partner for our successful SPEED silo in the football category. We are really excited to enhance the partnership with Ducati by creating a product that offers such synergy.”

The Puma x Ducati collaboration boot is available now for £179.99  on ProDirectSoccer
