Dove for Men ManCare

Its becoming more and more acceptable for men to pamper themselves, and footballers are no exception, with nearly all of them being pictured walking to games with personal washbags. Today we look at, and review, some washbag essentials from Dove.

We got our hands on the Hydrate+ range of Men+Care dove products, the first one we tested was the moisturiser. Moisturising for men used to be very taboo, and could get you a bit of stick in the dressing room, but attitudes are changing quickly , with cool packaging and great smelling products – Mantenance has never been cooler.

The Hydrate Moisturiser from Dove is specifically designed for men’s skin, insuring it is easily absorbed and, more importantly, doesn’t leave a greasy feeling. A lot of people, myself included, don’t really see the point in moisturising, but if you try it, you can really feel a difference, the  Dove Hydrate+ moisturiser replenishes lost moisture and leaves skin hydrated and soft all day. Probably the coolest part of this product is the SPF 15 it contains, which protects your skin from UVA and UVB rays, which can damage your skin. Not to mention how nice it smells!

Next up we have the Dove Men+Care Hydrate+ Post Shave Balm. Post shaving balms are one of the most underrated male grooming products on the market, not only do they soften the freshly grazed skin, but they also soothe your skin, so there is no soreness or redness. Unlike other products on the market, the Dove+ balm contains vitamin B5 which is great for your skin. The product smells really incredible, it has a slightly fruity aroma but mixed with a high class musty cologne.

The Dove Post Shave Balm is available from boots for just £5.49

While the moisturiser is available from boots for £8.99
